Have you seen this, or heard this episode of Geraint’s podcast? Very interesting, and often funny.

That should have links to Apple Podcasts or wherever you source from. There’s been one every day during the Tour!
I don’t know where the little video clips come from, the short bits are on G’s Twitter feed but it seems like the whole video should be available somewhere, especially for this episode as Cav is so animated.
The more I listen to the podcast the more I am enjoying it, esp when it’s G and his longtime buddy/teammate Luke Rowe. It is, literally, the workingman’s view of bike racing. Quality, mate, innit?

Cav may want to return, but will his team have a leadout train? That's the vital missing piece since his wins have fallen off.
And for that matter, which Team will he be riding with as Astana offered only one year = 2023?
I think Grand Tour victories are past him. 38yo sprinters are beyond dark horse. But miracles have happened.

AFAIK Vino offered him a ride for 2024 if he wants it. No, Astana will never field a train like the High Road or Quick Step days, but until he had his gear issues and then fell off his bike, Cav was doing pretty well in Le Tour freelancing with just a pilot fish or two. Not quite Sagan or McEwen like, but there are lots of ways to win.
Has anyone watched the Cav movie Netflix is flogging now? I'll probably get to it in a few days after Mrs. Slcbob completes her work trip and is ready to Cav and chill.
