Semroc with team Pulling Faces is killing it in both the classic and stage hunter vehicles and for more than just a stage or two. can/will anyone supplant the absolute dominance in the last mountain stage and the last stage?!?!

hoping Semroc is on vacation and off the grid for both le tour and la vuelta. perhaps a gofundme effort is in order...?

giro results are in!

in the classic game:

team Pulling Faces with Semroc tenaciously held onto the lead and came through in the final analysis. in the top 3.3% overall. not too shabby.
team Garfields wild angels and tomek78 places not far behind. even closer, team Buffalo Stance and J B show by a scant 8 points.
a bit of drop-off after the top teams.

in the stage hunter game:

the same results with the totals being not quite as condensed. Semroc rolled thru the italian showers of may in the top 1.7% of participants. über-woof.

as for the real competition the league specializes in...the maglia nera...there were two giants tussling for the bragging rights.
for the classic game, team Ketamine and Quitters skippered by Vitale Gelmixeur (USAZorro) shoots and scores with team X Merckx the Spot
and slcbob coming close. for the stage hunter game, roles are reversed and slcbob wholeheartedly triumphs over Vitale Gelmixeur. ummm...congrats
you two velo-warriors??

interesting giro. a tad one-sided regarding the gc and the sprints mostly fell to milan and merlier. expecting more fireworks/zaniness in july.
thank you to everyone that told the kids/significant other(s) to shut it and go to bed/leave the domicile in the last three weeks (and got away with it).

apologies for not over sharing/updating more frequently throughout as per the historical (on my part) norm. it's been wicked. it's been busy. it's been run away and hide for most of the last year.
didn't even share a single, trashy, horrible prediction. should tell you more than described on my part. love me sum horrible predictions. cautiously optimistic things improve. let's do this again in a month!

That's incredible - why don't we hear more from these savage savants here!? Great results semroc - and now I'm scrolling through your Dauphine line up only to realize I missed Magnus Cort? AT 6 POINTS!?

Yeah buddy thanks again! Got in on the Dauphine!
For me Bardet is just marking his rival for The Tour ... yes four dimensional chess here ... Alas Tiberi, oh Martinez... wonderful results which will carry you to the next level!

It was wonderful to watch Alaphillipe but also Quinten Hermans get some good results here!

I have been spending a lot of time in the caboose, but glancing up now and then to admire some of the heroic performances here. And lament the utter lack of piss poor prognostications. Let's all do better!

haven't been inspired enuff to toss out the usual horrible predictions lately. even for an absolute sprinter gimme/layup stage. maybe for le tour. injuries may push a few usual suspects to la vuelta instead. if so, i'll be more insufferable than usual in that regard. will say, looking for big big things from ayuso this vuelta but it'll come down to having a top-notch support cast like almeida, mcnulty, bjerg, felix da hauscat, pavel, soler, a yatesie and vine. ayuso will be lucky to get three of those guys for company. four is a dream. five is a lottery win.
