Sure.

Is there a pro cyclist that you are not suspicious about?

I honestly picked Rolland for the Tour solely because of his sketchy behaviour lately. It's the same reason I picked Santambrogio ahead of the Giro this year, and he scored me TONS of cheap points. It turns out that I'm just good and attentive, which, along with luck, is the other part of doing well in this Fantasy Sports thing.

It's not unsportsmanlike if I'm not the one cheating, and I'm upfront about my tactics, right?

I picked people at random. I bet my team will suck. At least I think my name is OK.

Two unrelated observations:

1) in the CyclingNews league announced here, once you join there's an annoying requirement for me to accept your join. I can't find a way to make it an open league. I will click you in ASAP.

2) Velogames' policy on dopers is that the scoring is finalized for the stage that night, and you keep your points. A doper DQ only costs you the future stages that they don't ride once thrown out. If they don't pop until weeks later, c'est la vie. Santambroggio was money for the Giro.

Just a note, everyone who signed up early may want to check their teams. I lost a couple of riders and had to replace them.

I meant to waffle at the last minute and change Cav to Sagan, then wound up having a nice dinner and a few drinks, and this morning didn't realize the time cutoffs, and blah-blah blah..... so I still have Cav on my team.

What does all that mean? That Sagan is going to have an AWESOME tour. Congrats to all of you who picked him!!

Wow. I'm not DFL. First time in a cycling competition I could ever say that ("Stomachs of Anger").

we should have a team bus/car category for scoring. if you correctly pick a team and their bus messes up the stage finish or their car takes out hoogerland
and catapults him into a barbed wire fence, there should be bonus points. just sayin...

Something tells me I'm not going to do so hot. Considering I just started watching a few months ago, I guess that's to be expected.

I haven't even seen the first stage yet but did hear about the bus. Planning on watching tonight.

I have learned I am almost as bad at fantasy cycling as I am at fantasy football. At least it's a long race and it's only been three days - maybe my guys will get it together!

Things will change as the GC guys sort it out. Although I'm kiking myself for taking Cavendish instead of Sagan now.
