Tour de France - Stage 7, Fri Jul 5, Montpellier - Albi, 206 km

Serious business.

Last day before the really high mountains. Last chance the sprint teams will have for a while, but they'll have to put in a real shift to even get a chance tomorrow.

Four categorised climbs, but unlike the last few they are genuine obstacles for the riders. Not very long, but they will cause real trouble for the sprint teams. With the number of hard climbs, I think it will boil down to who is the best sprinter that can stay in touch with the peloton for the whole stage. That said, breakaway riders will have a better chance than usual. Maybe Jensie will have his eye on this one.

Here's your chance Sagan, take it or leave it. Cannondale should put in some work on the front to make sure Kittel and Greipel aren't involved.

Another RS Rider starting a break. I think that speak volumes of the confidence they have in Andy, 0 confidence. I was hoping he was on better form, bit it appears not.

What happened to the EuroSport feeds? They're suddenly showing 10 km behind the riders' actual position and the Sport 3 feed.

The sprinters day is done.

Great job by the Cannondale boys for dropping Cav, Greipel, Kittel and the rest. I'm thinking Sagan will get his first win today and really solidify his grip on the green...

26 miles to go. Not sure why Cannondale is still doing all the work. Orica should help. Cannondale needs to save some gas for the finish.

Orica better chase down Bakelands, but it looks like a lot of their riders were dropped. They could lose the yellow unexpectedly today.

And Cannondale will not want to waste all this effort just to lose this stage...

Sky's EBH could spoil the Cannondale party. Sky has been sitting in the group all day.

Easier win than I expected. I guess EBH had no legs.

Whewwww. I'm gassed just watching that finish.

What a crowd Sagan had to work himself through. I didn't think he was going to get it, but his speed is really something and really, Cannondale deserved that. They ran the perfect race.

NBC coverage ran over 4 minutes. I hope nobody tuned in for the rebroadcast and saw the finish replayed at 11:33

With the top sprinters dropped, it had to be Sagan. No real competition left in that group for him to really worry about. I thought EBH had a shot, but it looked like he got caught in traffic a bit...
