Woom 1 steering limiter

Hi. My daughter will soon outgrow her Woom 1 (great bike, by the way). We got it used (though in great shape), so it's not eligible for the Upcycle program. Anyway, this bike is the version of the Woom 1 that was made between August 2018 and February 2021. It came to us with the strap-and-rubber-ring half of the steering limiter, but without the bolt that goes through the fork crown. Before selling the bike, I'd like to get the proper bolt for it -- but it seems that the one Woom currently sells will not fit this bike. Any idea where I can get the right one? Thanks!

I'm not at all familiar with the Woom 1, but if the bolt threads into a hole in the fork crown, all you would need to know is the bolt diameter, thread pitch, and length needed. I'm certain someone at a hardware store could probably help you out.

I'd suggest taking it to a bike shop with a service counter and ask they if they might have anything that fits. In my town at least, they are more likely to have something ideal than the hardware stores.

It's a somewhat specific part: the section of the shaft that sits behind the fork crown, as well as the head of the bolt, need to be the right length/diameter so that the rubber ring will detach under excessive pressure but not before it gets to that point. And I'd like to make the bike all OEM before I sell it -- people get nervous about homemade solutions on bikes for tiny kids.

Maybe try here?
Shoulder bolts, Stainless steel 18-8 - Bolt Depot
I doubt the bike manufacturer would bother to make up a special bolt for the application, instead of using one they could get 'off the shelf'.

Actually, I talked to Woom's customer service in Austin; they're sending me the right bolt, free of charge. Yay, Woom!
