maybe if you could find a bunch of stuff thatyou don't use anymore and put all of it into a garage sale. I did something like that it worked great. Oh yeah it is a great way to make a little money for your daughters college.

It is not the country of origin that is the predominent factor in determining quality. Remember that most of the Trek, Giant, etc., lines are manufactured in China today. Labor costs simply dictate offshore mfg. It is up to the mfgr to specify design / materials / QC & inspection.
