Biking w/Trailer - Extra Calories Burned???
I was reading your post about calories burned while biking with a trailer. I was wondering if you could help me. My trailer is about 33 lbs and DD is about 24 lbs. I usually ride for about 20 to 30 minutes. Have no idea how many miles. But I do keep a good pace, as I break a sweat.

I am not sure what you need help with.... If your question is the subject line, then yes, over the same route you will burn more calories pulling the trailer versus not pulling the trailer.

How long is a rope?
The number of calories you burn is going to be "equal" to the intensity of your workout times its duration.
So if you don't ride harder with the trailer - if your heart rate is the same, for example, with the trailer and without - and you don't ride for a longer amount of time, you'll burn the same number of calories, but you won't go as far or as fast.
