Hello! I'm new to the forum and new to biking with family, and I have a couple of questions that I'm hoping someone with more knowledge can answer.

First, does anyone have any knowledge or experience with an Adams 2-seater trailercycle? A friend of an acquaintance is selling a used one, and I'm interested in learning about them but can't find anything online and certainly don't personally know anyone who has used one. Of course primary concern is for safety, close second is durability. I have a 2, 4, and 6 year old, so we're looking at several years of light weekend use. Kind of worried that, if they're no longer being sold new, there is was a design problem.

Second, I'm planning to attach it to a Bianchi Volpe. Do you foresee any attachment problems with suspension seatpost?

Any other tips you can think of?

They are hard to come by. They do not make them anymore and they go quickly when they do come up for sale. I have seen one in use. The family using it had it hooked up to a tandem and were very happy with it.

I have not heard of any problems with them. Search on here for Adam and you should find some threads about the trail-a-bikes. I would imagine that they are similar in feedback except the tandem of course would be more difficult to control.

Test ride the sellers set up if you can. You should be able to tell fairly quickly if the configuration will work for you. If after test riding you are unsure I would vote that you buy it. You will be able to decide if you want to keep it after putting some miles on it with your setup. If you decide to sell I think it would go fairly quickly.

You will most likely need to replace the "H" block to fix any big wobble it has. I found this is routine with the fleet I have at work. I can't find a picture of it, but it is a block of hardened steel with two holes drilled through it at 90 degrees to each other where the hitch bolts go through.

As you can see, or maybe not, they get good traffic on the bidding. The one with only 1 bid was because of a "Buy It Now" price. $325 - 460 for these things.

Oh, that's just awesome! I was wondering what I was going to do once the twins outgrow their trailer but aren't big enough to ride their bikes along with me.
