Baby milestones
I'm mostly here to brag. Yesterday my 6.5 mo old figured out how to hold onto the hoop on his Exersaucer like it's handlebars. I'm looking out for bikey milestones and this seems like the first.
He's not ready yet. He doesn't just fall over like a sack of potatoes when we sit him up, but he's still not able to sit himself, up and he falls over when he leans back or reaches too far. He's yet to crawl, though he will soon, it's obvious he's frustrated about locomotion and working it out. I'm not actually too worried about his neck, he's been holding his head up since day 1.
Trailer soon...

Congrats on the milestone!
I went through the trailer vs seat exercise last spring and ended up finding a used ibert seat which fits great on my long cruiser. The front seats are nice because you can see how the kiddo is doing. Also, riding in front gives a much better view for the child. On the down side, rear head support would be nice on the ibert for when she falls asleep.
The biggest challenge was finding a tiny helmet for our little girl. We had to go to two bike shops to find one small enough.
