Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

First of all I want to remind you that the Giant Revive is a semirecumbent with an ordinary upright saddle. It is not a real recumbent. If Giant Revive were the only option I would certainly choose an ordinary upright of good quality. Otherwise I would say that a Bacchetta is a real recumbent and a good choice if you haven't ridden a recumbent before. The price is mostly a question of quality and of course there are a lot of cheap recumbents too. Actionbent and Azub are among them, but fortunately these marks are of good quality.
