Front Panniers on Rear Rack
Has anyone just used their front panniers on the rear rack. On my Vision Metro my large rear Cannondale panneirs are way to big. I put the front bags on after stretching the spring almost too it's limit, I was just wondering if it's a good idea or not. I had to replace the elastomer off the back( no rear suspension anymore) with a stack of washers to be able to use a rear rack.

I do it all the time. Really depends on how much I'm carrying, yada-yada. I've had some pannier / rack combos where the front ones needed a bit of an extension on the hook on the bungie cord to make it easier to attach (Not have to super stretch the bungie that way). Panniers don't generally know Front/rear, especially on a 'bent, since heel strike isn't an issue in any way shape or form.
Hope this helps,

Thank's , I am using my front bags because there is no room for the larger ones. I used the small one the last fews days, no problem. I was just a little concerned stretching the springs so far.
