easy racer gold rush
I am a "'bent" newbie, having bought the EASY RACER gold rush about 3 weeks ago. I have enjoyed riding
it more than I can say. Then I found this site and I have gotten a whole lot of good info already. (Which clips and shoes work well etc.)
In all the mentions of various bikes I have not seen any mention of the "GOLD RUSH". Does anyone else
have one? Happiness also loves company! I can't believe I am alone.
Thanks to all,
Allan

No, you're not. I ride an ER Tour Easy SS...get thee to the ERRC message boards as well and to BROL, if you haven't already. Many kindred souls there.
The ERRC magazine is a lot of fun too...lots of personal stories re riding these wonderful bikes!
Congrats on your purchase!!!

Go to ERRC and you will think there are no other bents made except Tour Easies.
I think they have replaced the Church of Rans for devotion and evangelism. Rans
has hopped onto the Bike of the Month club. TE is a tried and true though somewhat elderly design that is highly effective. SteveSteve

and welcome to the bent world!
Wow!
A Gold Rush sure is a nice first recumbent bike! Lucky you!
Because I've already gotten a semi-recumbent bike and a gently used GTO trike this year alone, I'm at least a couple of years from getting my lwb luxury cruiser....
But, on the good side, I've got two whole years to think about, research, rethink, research some more, and drool and lust after the two bikes that I'm considering(so far!)---the Easy Racer's Tour Easy(and the extremely cool club, magazine, message board, and following that only Easy Racers have)...and the also highly respected and venerable Rans Stratus(slightly less expensive, especially if you don't opt for the Gold Rush component upgrade, than the Tour Easy, great stock component selection, and a slightly more beautiful bike--to me, anyway).Congrats on your Gold Rush! Have tons of fun and centuries of miles on it!!!
