Crank Forward..... leg muscles used.

Seems to me... traditional bikes.. at least for me... work my hamstrings more than the quads. I've rode a crank forward (Day 6).. around 5-6 miles.. and it seemed the quad muscles were used more equally. I'd be interested in comments from those experienced in both crank positions.

Recumbent is out for me....no sense going there.

My typical winter ride now is 20 mi... every other day. 1800+ mi last 9+ months. Looking at a more upright crank forward.. going to 26" wheels... I'm 240's.. now.
