More Recumbents - Beach Retreat
Some pictures of a Fort Stevens (Oregon) that I rode in/attended a number of years ago. They're a great group of people and the recumbent rides up/down the Oregon coast between Astoria and Seaside was fun too! All makes and models of recumbents and all generations of riders represented too. I was riding a red tour easy back then.

Great photo's, we were thinking about going up to this years event BUT, we don't own a car and found out it's VERY EXPENSIVE to rent a P.U. truck or van so we will have to "save" up for a try to make the event in 2012!

I would like to attend this years event (haven't spoke to the coordinator who handle the past event for a while now), so I'll see if they'll post an announcement of their next recumbent retreat. Unfortunately when my kids turned into Tweens, they all of a sudden anti-recumbent (a dagger to Dad's heart!!!) as it's too nerdish for their liking. I ride my vintage steel frames and at least they think the old lugged frames are cool enough to ask Dad if I would ever build one up for them (which I've done w/a giving heart). However, my wedgies are just not as comfortable to ride for those 100+ mile tours. Viva recumbents!
