Recumbent Activities?
Now that we have recumbent bicycles, we have started looking for recumbent events/rallies and haven’t found many. We have found only 2 on the east coast: RBR hosts one in PA and the Mid West one in WI.
Is there a list of events someplace? Maybe we need an events sticky within the Recumbent Forum.

Have never ridden in a recumbent-specific event.
Our local bike club has an associated tandem club - if there were more recumbentistas around here maybe there would be a 'bent sub-club.

If you're willing to move to a more frigid part of the country, this group meets weekly and holds an annual Rally....https://home.roadrunner.com/~rare/

My club has a sub-club for the bents. No bent-specific activities, though -- just as bents are allowed in all club events, so too are uprights
. Even though there are over 100 bents in the club, only the T-Th rides that I do ever have other bents on them. I guess all the other ones do different rides!
It's not 'bent-specific, but DALMAC that I do every year has a fairly high percentage of 'bents on the 5-day routes. With ~400 cyclists on each route, the roads are never crowded but you can almost always find someone to ride with.

How about one in the Smokey Mountains at Townsend, TN? That should be close enough to North Carolina for you.

The only recumbent activity I've done so far is meeting recumbent riders for the Tour due Bronx. It was a blast. So make sure you guys aren't missing out good general bike activities looking for recumbent ones.

True dat. A lot of these 'bent groups tend to organize their gatherings around existing rides. Something about forming a pack to go hunting.

Our annual races have also turned into a recumbent get-together: https://www.ohpv.org/HPC/index.html .
Since the OP is in Nawth Carolina, I wonder if the WHIRL group might have better contacts: https://www.recumbents.com/whirl/ . (I also wonder if WHIRL is still active.)
