Just got done ordering a Schlitter Encore, and picking up a lightly used CA2. Can't wait to ride the 700c CA2, but the Encore will be sized for DH who has a 4" larger x-seam than I do, so no Encore time for me I guess. If anybody has an interest in a pair of Bacchetta Giros, let me know, as we will be selling both. FYI, we will likely sell one set of 700c disc wheels for the Giros too, as the Giros are disc ready, and the CA2 is not (only the Encore will have discs.)

Hi, I'm also looking into Schlitter's new recumbent Encore. I don't have one, thinking about ordering one. I got an old 10-year bacchetta giro 20 ( green Chromoly ) and thinking of upgrading. How does Schlitter Encore compare with Bacchetta CA 2.0 and/or Giro 20? I wished I can test-ride them for comparisons.

The Encore should be equally fast as a CA2 with the same rider. The advantage on the Encore, besides a lower cost, is the adaptability of the design to different wheel sizes and tire widths.

I just go tthe email that my Encore is due to ship to me next week! YAY! Mine will have the disc brake set up, so I can use any wheel size I want so long as it has disc hubs.

My Encore arrived a week ago! It is a sweet ride too! Well worth it.
