My attendance at Thursday night rides will be even sketchier this term, as Thursdays are 14 hour days for me at work (class + TA + 8 hour shift). I'll try to make it when I can, but I honestly don't know how up to it I'll be feeling when I get out of work at 10.

races?
anyone know anything about the race alexi has supposedly been organizing? i thought there was something coming up soon. it's been way too long since there's been a good alley cat or crit, which is a shame since it's been relatively mild out.
hey jacob what's the plan for your march 3rd race? would love some more info.

anyone up for a ride tonight? i was thinking a trip to castle island. meet @ the reflecting pool around 830, leave at nine. the weather looks like it'll be nice, tonight is supposed to have a low of 27* and the wind isn't too bad.

the borders in downtown crossing sells this really great 4 x 6 spiral bound cabbie book of boston and the surrounding areas. every street name in every area is indexed in the back, too. its definitely not waterproof, though
i think i got mine for about 12 bucks.

you should get the Boston edition of the "not for tourists" series. amazing little book guides. every street. they have them at the harvard book store.

yeah, i'm planning on doing monster track the next weekend, but i think i'm going to be overhauling my bike in between since i'm beating the crap out of it this winter. but if anyone is coming up for monster track that needs a couch, mine will probably be available. ...and i keep hearing something about a "best fake tan" award.
