woo-hoo! team pirate repped in NYC for the DUMBO race yesterday. didn't catch john at the finish, so i don't know his outcome (good, i'm sure), but spud and i tore up the course, finishing 20 and 12 of 70! we fast! spud also gets the unofficial best dressed award for that redunkulous mapei getup.

Yeah, DNF for spoke card No. 1! No casualties, just a complete lack of ability to read maps.

It was a blast anyway, I'm even starting to get the feeling back in my balls...

And congrats to you guys, those places are awesome. Spud looked like a pastel flash.

That reminds me. What does the Pirate Calendar look like these days? Do we still do stuff on Wednesdays are has the shift been made to a new day? Will there be polo this week? Hot Cordozo nights? Inquiring minds who now have more freetime want to know.

this wednesday is Polo, next wednesday will be Cardozo Track Hot Nights. next sunday Laps n Cheese at Haines Point. this one fell apart because of Easter, sorry to anyone who showed up confused yesterday.

so... for saturday the 29th... what if i planned a scavenger hunt? like for halloween but more find stuff... not a race, for teams, involving drinking for those who choose... and since it's gonna be my bday/going away dealie, i'll prolly invite some non-biking friends to do this thing on foot/metro/whatever, though they'll prolly lose.
