nifty things about tonight:
1) I finally tightened my chainring bolts 2) I learned how to take a bike apart 3) I like folk music and meeting new people. if you want to go to shows with me/meet me, let me know. 4) I thought I was gonna be out of town this weekend, but I'm not, so technically I'm available for April Fools Race. still undecided if it's a good idea to go. I've never raced before so would probably be looking for someone to tag along with if I go. that is all. |

p.s. other NOT nifty things:
1) smoking allowed in bars in the burbs. now I smell. 2) I just discovered yet another bruise from the other day when I fell over bike when I was NOT MOVING and my feet were ON THE GROUND. (ok, so one foot must have been off the ground or else falling would have been impossible. but still...). |
Yes to race. It's a perfect first race. It's not competitive at all unless you want it to be. Just a great day on bikes. Boo to grimy folk...male or female. Yay for drinking in the park! I'm so in! And yes to handing out flyers. I used to kind of do that for a living.

Instead of a nifty list I will post an uncertainty list:
1. I want to do a 200k brevet (http://www.njrando.com/?p=calendar#princeton200) tomarrow but it's in princetown and the trains from philly don't run early enough and I have no car. 2. That means I would need to either bum a ride from someone who wants to leave super early tomarrow morning, or take the train to a hotel and pay $89 for a night, plus train fare back. 3. I still need a front light and they make you get one of those reflective vests too. 4. The April fools day race would be lots of fun, but I wanna ride 200k!!!!!!!! |

Well.... its pretty much the greatest crankset EVAR... Road or track? funny you should ask... the secret? It is a road double, with a 144mm(track) BCD! they are a copy of campy super record cranks. Also, I was born in 1984, so you know its good. here is an auction for the exact item: http://www.cyclart.com/photos/Inventory/CS-7802.jpg as for the price... including BB, im gonna say NOT $300(the price of the cranks in taht auction) they arent in PERFECT shape, ill have to take a look at them again. |
