and he rides a pink bike. *Oh, and by the way, pink has all these connotations I neither embrace nor reject. But let's agree to describe the color as "fleshtone" or "peach" or "calamine" Haha, yeah right. I love my pink bike, so that's what it is. Good little get-together last night. Especially the surprises in the birthday cake. SO tasty! |

Dane, are you going out there on the fixed gear? If it wasn't all rained on, Forbidden Drive is very nice even for the skinny tires. There's construction going on right now that blocks the access from Ridge Ave. I've seen a route that goes up the hill on Midvale (off of Kelly Drive) and drops you onto the trail somewhere.

I got there from ridge earlier this week. Just follow the trail on the left side of the river, takes you right to it. As for doing it on 23s, I wouldn't but I'm fat. I've never tried to get there any other way but there are certainly other access points from mt airy and whatnot (with a mtn bike, you can head down below the mcallum st. bridge for example).
