I'm mildly offended that you didn't rep the bumblebee hat crew in Florida, Ryan.

Mildly.

Grr.

babychris 04-26-07 12:13 AM

he did, he ended up trading it for the blue/white hat.

ryand 04-26-07 08:12 AM

the shark attack hat is still being repped in florda.

ps- if you ever see me ride by with no tattoos and the bumble bee hat, tackle that ****er. because that ****er is luke.

chip thunder 04-26-07 08:17 AM

Miss you, ry ry. Haven't seen you since before florida. You working today?

Damn Right!

*Oh, and by the way, pink has all these connotations I neither embrace nor reject. But let's agree to describe the color as "fleshtone" or "peach" or "calamine"
Haha, yeah right. I love my pink bike, so that's what it is. Good little get-together last night. Especially the surprises in the birthday cake. SO tasty!

yeah thats what i meant. ive never ridden a bike out there before. but i found a map. thanks for nothin!

HelluvaStella 04-27-07 06:39 AM

Dane, are you going out there on the fixed gear? If it wasn't all rained on, Forbidden Drive is very nice even for the skinny tires. There's construction going on right now that blocks the access from Ridge Ave. I've seen a route that goes up the hill on Midvale (off of Kelly Drive) and drops you onto the trail somewhere.

since its raining ill probably drive. does that construction completely shut off bike access?

celephaiz 04-27-07 08:41 AM

I got there from ridge earlier this week. Just follow the trail on the left side of the river, takes you right to it. As for doing it on 23s, I wouldn't but I'm fat. I've never tried to get there any other way but there are certainly other access points from mt airy and whatnot (with a mtn bike, you can head down below the mcallum st. bridge for example).
