Minneapolis
My friend and I are coming to Minneapolis from the 12th-15th. Are there any group rides or races going on during these days? It would be awesome to meet up with some locals and ride. We also need a place to sleep. Are there any recommendations?
Thanks
Thanks

Great city to ride in. My only complaint is that I have a swollen knee and a bloody elbow due to Nicolette (sp?) ave. My friend and I caught some crack in the rode and ending up eating some serious concrete in front of the Target center.
Also, thanks to Zoey and Dan for taking us around the city. Good Times.

I'm a Twin Cities native. How is it that you guys are riding in December? Is it global warming or what? Are the streets passable with regular road tires? I remember getting a bright red Schwinn Varsity as a kid for Christmas one year. It was torture. Waaay too much snow to ride it til spring.

There was no snow whatsoever. Actually, it was warmer by about 5 degrees there than it was in Cincinnati.

It's odd, to say the least.
