speaking of d-bag drivers, i was at yonge and st. clair on one of the side streets that has a ton of bike parking, and this lady was having a hard time getting her car out of everyones way as she wanted to wait for something at the side of the road, some guy had to wait probably 10 seconds to get around her, then as he finally is able to, he guns it around her, his passanger yells out "learn how to drive!" at the top of his d-bag lungs and they promptly crash into the car right in front of her waiting to turn onto st. clair
one of the funniest things i've ever seen, i mean the timing between "learn how to drive!" and them crashing was impeccable.

So i'm sitting in front of manic on college this afternoon enjoying some coffee and sunshine with a friend when two giant d-bags drive by in a Mercedes and blatantly throw a pop can out the window. Lucky for them they get the red light at bathurst. Being the good samaritan that I am I dutifully run over and fetch their lost property and return it to the passenger. As I hand it over i say something along the lines of "here you go, i think you dropped this." The passanger(who was dressed like he'd seen one too many eminem videos) thanked me graciously and promptly threw the can back on the street. I think to myself "wow! that's some bad luck!" But just then a friendly cyclist picked up the can and threw it as hard as she could right on the trunk ensuring it's safe return to it's rightful owners.

I've had this frame sitting around since last summer. I just got it back from Jet-Kote today. Finally, I can use up some of my parts bin that won't be used on the Stratos NJS I'm working on. This is just an IRO Angus for thrashing around town.

got caught up digging up my friends backyard...........for the entire day...
I'll def try to make it out this coming week tho. Does that wrench fit the eyelets tho from the outside rim? I have read mixed reports about the wall thickness for the wrench.

Vittoria Rally are about the cheapest tubulars. I remember buying them at D'Ornellas for several $ less than Urbane. $39 vs $44 iirc.

D'ornellas is great btw, just that i can't afford anything in there.
Racer Sportif has a Vittoria tubular with Kevlar and its gumwall which is perfect and $25.90, just been too busy to get out there tho...
if i manage to snag one/pair, i'll post it up.
I took a ride on tubes for the last week and im a convert. Vittoria = good, continental Giro = bad.
stay away from that giro tire. but even with its hap-hazard quality control, the entry level tubes i tried are a significant difference from the clinchers I am used to using.
btw, krusty, are those armadillos on ur most recent build? lookin good.

Conti Gatorskins. I installed them on that pair of Miche wheels last year. I always meant them for this project, but didn't follow through until this year. I prefer tubulars as well. 2 of my bikes (soon 3) have them. Years ago, I tried a pair of Dugast silk tubs. Those have spoiled me for life when it comes to tires. If you ever win the lottery, try some.
