Hey Keith.. no creaks FTW! She rides like new again. Thanks again!
Got a Zipcar yesterday and went down to the falls. Haven't been billed yet but so far what a cool ass system. And it's nice to get a decent car instead of getting screwed on the rentals. Hopefully this will mean I'll have track 1&2 under my belt soon(ish),
Anyone rollin' around the city today?

offhoff, to keep, or just use? I have one that you can use after I get back from the long weekend.
PS. this place I am staying at is silly. Its like a castle in creemore that was just built a few months ago. All the wood is salvaged from old barns, all the stones from old barn foundations, and its probably around 10,000 squre feet. There are built in speakers in every room and an actual theater downstairs with an HD projector. the drawers havr a crazy mechanism where you can slam them shut but in the last inch or so it slows down and closes really softly. I think its magic. Definitely my mom's most friendly and best interior design client...

Here's my build plan for the summer.
'07 Fuji Track Pro frameset, my current vintage Campy record track hubs laced to some white deep v's with double butted spokes, Thompson seat post and stem, FSA carbon pro track crankset, white Fi'zi:k Arione.
It should look like this

Errr..
Let my first post be on a thread > 1000.
I live in Pickering. Lived in Toronto for about 5 years. Rode a 1999 Kona Nunu through the DV for a spell.
The Don Valley stinks (literally)... but has some half-decent romps.
ust bought a 2007 KHS Alite 3000. And just found an very unexpected suprise. Huge trails that basically merge into the Rouge Valley, right in my backyard.
Whhooooooop.
Very much looking forward to getting back into this... it's been awhile.
Tear it up...

CM, any plans to do a powder coating run in the near future? I think I might build up my Rob Roy to something along these (colour scheme) lines: https://www.norco.com/2007bikes/image...nlarge/6_1.jpg. If anyone else is running something out to Jet Kote, let me know please.
PS. The gf and I went out on a 50k ride today. Weather was awesome, she loves her new bike and we ran into some characters from the Donut ride. Old Eurotrash guys + my gf are somehow kindred spirits.

On a related note, I heard somewhere that powder coating is less rust ******ent than paint due to the lack of a primer or something. Anyone?
