I cant believe they said "truly epic lulz" on the news.

I'm sorry, this is the funniest thing i've seen today. I literally laughed out loud when they explained what "lulz" was. Oh man. This is probably the worst media sensationalist crap i've viewed all week.

Trolling, griefing and other anti-social activities is not new. And the fact that they had myspace users come and get interviewed just makes it all the more funny. When are people going to learn that posting personal information on a public website is just not a good idea?

And good luck to that lady who was trying to get the FBI interested in these cases.

I love incidents. And brakeless idiots. Recently I've seen more and more brakeless bikes in T.O riden by fools in crocs and flipflops. What a great way to ruin a bike.

My ESP tells me the one on the left?

sounds like someone shoulda asked her to politely leave the peloton ;)

followed by telling her her tires were lacking in air while puncturing them.

i was referring to the scooter guy who intentionally hit someone on a bike and then the cyclists that decided he wasn't leaving so they put him in a headlock. it wasn't the greatest cm ever. whoever led the group the wrong way down a one way past cop cars isn't going to help the cyclist image either. bad vibes all around. except for brad and tam of course!

Strange, I wasn't in the CM but I saw you guys go by and I noticed her on her conversion and thought about how unnerved she looked, it was a white Bianchi, right? I saw the forum meber who has that Rossin as well, sweet machine! I thought the vibe was a bit odd, especially when the folks leading went into the Eaton Centre; I thought it was going to be a mini-protest because of all those GM cars being displayed in the mall. Or is that a usual part of the route?

I_bRAD 07-28-07 05:09 PM

haha... the eaton's centre was a bit of a bust this time 'round 'cause we came in from the back side only to discover yonge street was closed! haha...

I didn't notice the girl on the fixie, but the scooter incident was lame. I'm not even sure he deliberately hit anyone, he was trying to get through. Stupid but not worth getting into an altercation over IMO.

I_bRAD 07-28-07 05:14 PM

Also- anyone in the friends for life tomorrow keep a lookout for a few of us that will be riding along the lake between whitby and newcastle tomorrow! Have a great ride you guys! :)

Looks like a short day arriving to kingston (51k) give me a holla if you like/have time mike.

Ill Mitch 07-28-07 07:03 PM

My new ride.

http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/5904/img2975zb6.jpg

All stock except for Fizik Arione, Thompson seatpost, and front brake.

lacing some Campy record track hubs to Open Pros for it.

cavit8 07-28-07 07:15 PM

So both you and TJ have Ariones. What are local prices like? I'm tracking one on ebay but I'd rather buy local if it's feasible... I need something that will work for longer distances and a green Brooks doesn't really fit with the Pinarello.

Ill Mitch 07-28-07 07:17 PM

most local prices I've seen are around $199 I bought mine from a friend for $50.

jet sanchEz 07-28-07 08:22 PM

Veeeeeeeeeeeery nice! The fork is carbon fibre, yes?

3. Kingston – The “Halfway” Party

The Grad Club
62 Barrie Street (at Union)

Tuesday, July 31st, 2007
8:30PM ‘til Bedtime
I will be there, most likely out on the front patio. This place is within a 15min lazy stroll from the university if I remember correctly from last year. Stop by if you have time and we can hang out for a few. I probably won't be out too late.

I'll keep an eye out for the 'stache. If you see a black/white Tosca (cx bike) in full roadie scum mode, that'd be me.

shapelike 07-28-07 09:59 PM

1. Who the **** ... actually, n/m. I was going to rip into catasro**** girl but at least she's riding a bike.
2. Keith et al, here's a link (https://secure.e2rm.com/registrant/p...ationID=263859) to my pledge page if you want to donate online while I'm away. Otherwise, I'll stop in post-rally and attempt to hit you up for that cash.

Have a good one all, I'll try to take some incriminating photos of people from the shop that we can all laugh hysterically at.
