What was that? The talent portion of some womens fitness competition? I love it when she ducks from the sound of blaster fire.

I have never been a coffee drinker..never aquired a taste...but I want to try a coffee from there. Mattrennick seems to be in the same boat.

If I do that, I'm still losing 3 out of my 9 gogs in the back. The small ring and smallest 3 gogs are affected by the angle of the chain intersecting with the big ring.
Hrm, that sounds like a similar problem I had when I put my Ciocc together, I could hit 6 of 9 gears no matter how much I tweaked the derailleurs. I finally figured out that the chain was too long, could that be it?

Ryan and I will most likely be there good and early. We were talking about grabbing something good for a late breakfast after the show. Diner breakfast + new bike parts is always fun

To those who havnt picked up their passes yet. I will be going super early and will not be going to a pre-show coffee meet. To prevent frantic searching on show day I suggest yall pick em up from the shop today.

I am gonna leave the house at 8...should get me there around 8:20. I am gonna pack my thermos and a bagel and hopefully get in on the first wave. Last year the line was stupid...gonna avoid that this time around. I dont know if I am even gonna buy anything but I think the best deals are to be had by getting in as soon as possible.

This is also what I am planning. I'm not waiting for anyone either Hanging out after sounds good. During the show I want to get in there and get the deals. Beforehand you can catch me in the line visualizing the deals to be had. Michael Huebner style.

Bikes: Menonite black urbanite, probably enough spare parts to make anther one.

alright i'll skip the coffee shop if i must; if any of you are there earlier than me i may have to cut into line with you. i'll make a thermos of espresso if anyone wants some bring a teeny mug.

that beauty pagent video was painfull; the highpoint for me was her duck-footed dance interpretation of the rag-tag band that plays in jabba the hut's bar.

In Dan's honour (of posting a beautiful FGG bike after an ugly one), here's something absolutely awesome after that awful (ly pain-larious) link:

Is it just me, or is she using her trumpet as a prop-blaster? Freaking hilarious

Bikes: TBL Onyx Pro(ss converted), Pake SS (starting to look kinda pimped)

I wonder if I might score another set of gloves like I've got now... the palms are so shredded on these ones.
I simply couldn't watch it all .....too painful from the opening notes.

Does anyone need a longish quill stem? I've got a 3t stem that is either 120 or 125 mm that looks like this one, but with a bit more wear+tear (still shiny in most visible places though):
https://cgi.ebay.com/3TTT-Italy-Quill...QQcmdZViewItem

I thought I'd need longer reach for my conversion but it was too much. It has a 26mm clamp diameter, and comes with matching drop bars (all I remember is that they say "3ttt mod competizione"). Ideal for an authentic italian rebuild I'm not really looking for much money -- just trying to find a good home here before they get donated to bikechain.

Also -- I can't make the bike show, but my invite for a weekday lunchtime visit to Manic is still open to anyone interested.

Bikes: '05 marinoni delta, '86/87 bianchi sport s(e)x, ? kona ?, raleigh '71, specialized crossroads

funny, i was already going to ignore the pre-meet to get there asap... not to mention the fact that a) i don't really drink coffee and b) i live so close to the cne. glad to know i won't be missing out or be the one derailing everyone's plans! i have a feeling i'll be pretty delirious by the end, but it would be lovely to hang out with y'all since wednesdays are pretty late for me (7 am start on thursdays).

tj: at the spring show i found a pair of pearl izumi (i know, i know enough already tam) long fingered gloves for $20! between those and the ones i got at the friday the 13th i've been very happy; with gloves, any stitching that comes out i fix right away so they're still as good as new!

Sorry i didn't get the pic to you last night..had a bit of a brain fart. The hub is proprietary to the wheelset...so a new one might be cost/sourcing prohibitive. I would be very surprised if HED cant help you with the part. I have the camera here today so I will send you a pic of both the part and the wheelset/hub later tonite.
