I believe Brad suggested leaving them at The Bike Joint if I'm not mistaken. Since Cavern isn't available for ticket distribution anymore! :)

Speaking of which, TBJ has a website now? Was that your doing, Brad?

http://www.thebikejoint.com/

Would it be wrong to go meet up with Critical Mass and steer it down towards the St. Lawrence Market area only so that I can have a posse to take me through the traffic chaos to where I'm going anyway? ;)

I_bRAD 02-29-08 04:17 PM

There's been a website for as long as I can remember, it's not my doing!

Nothing flashy (more like GIFfy), but it's to the point.

Thanks for the tickets mr traffic jammer! :)

somnambulant 02-29-08 04:21 PM

huh! Apparently its Google rankings have improved or something then because I don't think I ever saw it before.

TRaffic Jammer 02-29-08 04:33 PM

Yup I'll get then to the Joint early in the week. It's my pleasure, honest and for true.

I might have to rip the soundtrack of that vid. The guy kind of reminds me of Javier Bardem's character in No Country for Old Men.

Also, while I hope that Spring bike show = Spring weather, I'm trying not to anticipate that actually being reality.

I'm thinking of going Fri night as well. Shall we go together, just as friends I mean (unless you buy me some xtr stuff, then I'm all yours big boy).

Nay, if it was jit he'd be unable to post without taking a shot at someone.

OH I'm remember... i think. I'm not sure. Uhh. Damnit I want my uber memory back. This is bull****, i'm never going to be normal again.

Flimflam 02-29-08 09:41 PM

Mass was fun, good to see you again Mike. I got video footage of it all so I'll have to see how it came out on the handlebar mount. We rode down Queen and had a moment of silence for Dukes, then went up to Bike Pirates.

Don't worry oper, that really IS my buddy and not the twit.

Thanks a lot TJ, let me know if it's easier for me to meet you or just grab it from TBJ...

nerdsgirth 02-29-08 09:56 PM

no problemo

operator 03-01-08 11:07 AM

Ok you racer dudes - got any resources for just starting out with training?

jeremywhitehorn 03-01-08 11:21 AM

i'd say begin with some olde-tymey triangular weights and some squat thrusts...hep-ho...hep-ho!

TRaffic Jammer 03-01-08 11:22 AM

From an old school perspective.....
Loads of stretching, core muscle attention and spin spin spin.
Any cross training will help of course be it martial arts, weights, yoga, pilates etc.

Like J said loads of squats as well. Any specific discipline?
