Isn't that Robin Williams in another of his hi-larious costumes?

I notice that Gerdeman finished with a broken femur, does that imply he carried on with... or his ride was done due to? Either way, doh!

Fun ride last night, thanks for coming down Wil - I'd been out since about 6:30 so glad it wasn't called as I didn't see the note

Nice to see you too last night Pyze!

Westbound sucks, darn wind - though I'm going to relish it heading East soon - yay for early finishes on long weekends.

wooohoooo

There is an older Steve Bauer fixie conversion locked up on Queen /leslie outside the retirement home... it's had a back flat for about a week now. I'm afraid for it. Wondering if somebody knows who's it is? Running a front brake, Alex rims, race blade rear fender.
This Friday. Will see you there.

Ditto.. you know me and my argyle obsession! I'd be happy with a set of arm or leg warmers as well. If Felt put out production road frame in the Slipstream colours I'd be really tempted.

edit: speaking of Slipstream.. congrats, kids!

last nights ride was fun.
good to be out with a decent sized group.

my quick stop in at the bovine resulted in me hitting last call
and a sore head this morning.

Zombie is going to be his house brand he is planning on selling. Like Lubo at Cyclmania, but better and cheaper Polly claims.

Feeling that way too. So Awesome.

so... anybody has scrap MKS pedals? I need to replace the lock nut on one of mine (GR-9) and it's an oddball size.
Just to play devils advocate....if someone looks respectable and wants a fair price ie: not a $1000 bike for $40....how do you know it is stolen? for the amount of stuiff that goes thru there I think 1 bike in 100 is not unreasonable. He isn't Igor and doesn't buy off shady folk. If you buy and sell used, no matter how dilligent you are, it is inevitable you will end up with something that is hot.

As it stands I'm supposed to be out of town tomorrow eve but if I end up being around I'll give you a call and would likely be happy to help out.

If you look around a new frameset wouldn't be much more? Matt? than that. Used..Low End Carbon Fork...doesn't seem worth it. But then again I know what they cost wholesale If you are gonna buy something local, used, consider a road conversion. Its gonna ride very similar to an IRO but chances are the frame will be constructed with some decent quality tubes, whereas the IRO is just generic cr-mo. That crit frame cavit8 posted from Craigslist is a wayyy better deal than a used IRO....and its a crit frame perfect for fixed. Operator can attest to the capability and ride of a good used road frame.
