I notice that Gerdeman finished with a broken femur, does that imply he carried on with... or his ride was done due to? Either way, doh!
Fun ride last night, thanks for coming down Wil - I'd been out since about 6:30 so glad it wasn't called as I didn't see the note

Nice to see you too last night Pyze!
Westbound sucks, darn wind - though I'm going to relish it heading East soon - yay for early finishes on long weekends.

There is an older Steve Bauer fixie conversion locked up on Queen /leslie outside the retirement home... it's had a back flat for about a week now. I'm afraid for it. Wondering if somebody knows who's it is? Running a front brake, Alex rims, race blade rear fender.

Ditto.. you know me and my argyle obsession!
I'd be happy with a set of arm or leg warmers as well. If Felt put out production road frame in the Slipstream colours I'd be really tempted.
edit: speaking of Slipstream.. congrats, kids!

last nights ride was fun.
good to be out with a decent sized group.
my quick stop in at the bovine resulted in me hitting last call
and a sore head this morning.

Another awesome photo:

Yes, I am shamelessly running out the clock after finishing up several large projects this week. Huzzah!

I don't know... He might be well intentioned but he does sell bikes. Buying stolen bikes only encourages more thefts. If I saw a stolen bike I'd call the police. But I guess the police wouldn't come in a split second and engage a pursuit...
so... anybody has scrap MKS pedals? I need to replace the lock nut on one of mine (GR-9) and it's an oddball size.

Here's a nice little frame. Not sure about the dropouts, though.

If you are gonna buy something local, used, consider a road conversion. Its gonna ride very similar to an IRO but chances are the frame will be constructed with some decent quality tubes, whereas the IRO is just generic cr-mo. That crit frame cavit8 posted from Craigslist is a wayyy better deal than a used IRO....and its a crit frame perfect for fixed. Operator can attest to the capability and ride of a good used road frame.
