Too bad that isn't in 100mm. I'd buy that immediately.
P.S If anybody comes across any quill 26.0 with removeable/hinged stems that aren't ugly locally (oyster or 3ttt evolution would be cool) - please let me know.

Yeah.. can't use those stems. I still have my super aero looking bars which requires a removeable faceplate or a hinged design.

Phil makes 22t fixed cogs
PSA Rogers cable internet customers - be aware that they are planning to charge you for any bandwidth usage over your monthly plans service cap. This means combined upload AND download. The charge is going to be $2 - $5 per extra GB.

Wish I had signed up for one of those "3 year contracts" for savings, just so I could back out due to changes in terms of service.
Back from my week of travel in Boston/Princeton -- both are awesome places in their own respects.
Also -- post surgery healing is going well, met with the doc today who gave me the OK to get back on the bike as long as I go at a "reasonable" pace.

I ripped up a old MTB cassette & chose a 22t cog to go with the 44 up front on the bad weather bike so far so good.

In other news thanks for all the cool stuff Chris! I'm gonna have a *****in' single speed, fendered, beslicked mountain bike as of whenever I am feeling not-lazy enough to finish the project. Hopefully this weekend. Booyah.

I hadn't expected the DSR ride to be such a hammerfest. Maybe it's just because everyone seemed to be running a higher gear than me, but I was expecting much more of a cruise rather than hanging off the back spinning at 105rpm. My legs were already totally cooked before we even rolled out as well, which didn't help.

I also tried a ramped cog on a SS and the chain dropped frequently. Try to look for an early 6-7sp cassette which weren't ramped. I got an old 18T from parts unknown and it works ok. The teeth aren't as long as a BMX SS sprocket though.

Bah, had to work late, missed my visit with my daughter and by the time I ate, it was 8:30, so I missed the ride completely, hope it was fun, was a nice day out considering.
I see Bell is now throttling their resellers lines as well as their own, and now Rogers does this poop? Aieeee! I've been over almost 100% the past couple of months, I best tone that down I guess.

Please Tell me that Teksavvy isn't associated with Bell at all ... I'm desperate to get away from those Bell idiots in May.
Shiftless bum
Let me know about this. I'm thinking of switching to Teksavvy. I haven't received any throttle notices as yet, but I'd like to keep my options open as I've been thinking of Teksavvy's dry dsl.

Re: Domain Offer
Keep in mind that the cost of a WIPO action (wherein they sue you for infringement) is about $3K. That is often the threshold. Be careful about naming a price or appearing to actively offering to sell. Lots of lawyers trolling for evidence of bad faith. This assumes your domain is non-generic and/or subject to a infringement claim. If you need some free advice, send me a PM. I've developed and sold websites and domains and know the ropes.
Now back to fixies. Now that Cavern is closed, can anyone recommend a good T.O. bike shop for fixies (frames and gear)?

Awe Wes, you kept up just fine. You won the race back to home! haha I joke. Next week will be a little less speedracer. We were dropping people all over the place, wicked ride either way, seeing everyone lined out along Dupont at Ossington was awesome.

I saw an article on Slashdot yesterday that said that Bell is now throttling the lines before they get to the wholesale level. So companies like Tecksavvy are getting screwed even though they don't want to throttle.

If the Teclos had bothered building up networks in anticipation of the 21st century like Japan has this wouldn't be an issue. No investment in order to maximize profits then all of a sudden, 'oops we don't have enough bandwidth, better charge the consumer more'. Bloody Barons in all industries that do this North America wide, we're supposed to be world leaders in this sort of thing but greed constantly gets in the way to the determent of the populace.

Good god. At that point my resentment is off the charts, I still want to dump Bell as much as I can but is there actually anywhere else to turn to? Rogers looks like it's primed to screw people over if they go over some arbitrary bandwidth limit ... it's been years since I was even remotely concerned about that and I'm not willing to revisit it. Technology has moved forward you leeches, quit screwing all your customers over with nonsense fees!

Fido..owned by Rogers..which boasts of it's giant coverage is charging customers a tower building fee, in order to increase coverage... not even trying to be sneaky about it. Bastids.
All the same every single one of them.
RE: Bell. If you paid for it you can still manage to jam a full HD Bell TV what's it down the remaining two channels of the phone wire...bandwidth issues my starfish.
/rant.. smiling now...gonna ride to work soon.

You know, that was only part of it. I got entirely snubbed by the three guys that were waiting at Dundas Square when I first got there. I rolled up and tried to chat and they more or less totally ignored me. I guess I was too far below their lofty social strata or something. Plus the whole swarming through traffic, pissing off drivers hammerfest isn't really my scene. I can ride fast without riding like an *******. Meh.. different strokes I guess, but I was kind of disappointed.
