Yeah, that was a great weekend. It saddens me to realize that it isn't an annual Toronto event. I'll have my pics and/or video up tonight.

Beware, bike cop south on St George busting cyclists running the stop sign just north of Harbord. Handing them out like it is Christmas.

Doesn't look like me, but it must be - raingear is on - I can tell it's my bike by the fenders + my two bottles

+1 on the great photos (still getting through all of them! )

It was a really fun weekend, I had a total blast. I didn't qualify due to a sweated-up timecard (rookie non-messenger error I figure ) but man I had fun nonetheless. Wish it could be more close/regular thing, Tokyo for next year might be a tall order This type stuff even makes me wish I could afford to work on the road somedays, I miss the collective/brotherhood feeling, only had that with the Army before - such a good crowd of folks.

always a favourite spot. makes perfect sense busting cyclists at a T intersection on campus surrounded by slow moving traffic...

does anyone know if MEC has replacement batteries for knog lights?

i was heading for the ferry at the same moment. not the driest trip home, but i think the impromptu pack ride away from the ferry terminal was the most fun i had all day.

7:30 Yonge/Queens Quay. Route is riding out to the spit IIRC (can't find the flyer now myself).

I'm heading to Chippys on Queen W and then onward for a slowroll down.

Not really in the same area, but the Fish & Chips place on Broadview, just south of Danforth is pretty awesome. Chippy's has gone way downhill. I prefer Harbord F&C in the West end.

...

Now I want fish & chips! This place I went to in Vancouver last week is totally awesome, I go there every time I'm in the city. I wish it was here!

shhh!

I grew up in Newfoundland. I miss proper fish 'n' chips! Especially with dressing (like a stove top stuffing made with Newfoundland Savoury herbs) and gravy.. oh god.. I've worked myself into a lather.

i'll post up something in the trade forum too but i'm wondering if any of you guys have got a set of mtb/bmx cranks with a smaller-than-130-bcd (110 or 94; so i can run a 21t ring) you want to get rid of? do you cycle solutions guys still have those 94bcd suginos you had at the show perhaps?

They are standard cr2032. As much as I dislike MEC they do sell replacement batteries for them.

Speaking of MEC, I was down there today and they are building up a service area for bikes. It looks pretty snazzy,
I think they dumped a lot of money into this project. I wonder how their prices will be?
