For how much i hate having a mother who is a lawyer... one thing i love is my ability to think logically during arguments....
long story short i out thunk 3 italians, and i'm home tomorrow and hopefully buying a 29er SS the day after (anybody know if dukes has any 21" misfits in stock? or somewhere else has a 29er SS. I looked at the kona but i dont like the fact its cromo)

but really... come on, i grew up with a parent who went to school to learn how to argue, like every time i get in trouble i have to defend myself to lawyer, i learned a trick or two... I can talk my way out of most situations...
awesome for answering the 29er question. i must put in an order for one oh man how long will it take, i want one nooooooow (i miss bikes sooooooo much. my "tight" pants that i bought before i left were hard to get over my thighs, now there baggy )

Owwww...
Riding around all day on an empty stomach and then stopping for an omelette wrap and a smoothie right before realizing I had to race home to make it to work on time was a bad idea. Urrrrrrrrrgh...

Anyone knows where i can get a relatively cheap 80mm or 90mm stem, black preferably? Or if somebody has one lying around i can trade you a 120mm stem or a 15t cog.

Forgot about that info, it's 1 1/8 threadless. And one other thing, i was tightening up my chain a little this evening, and it seems that there is half an inch less slack on the tight spot that the rest of the chain. Is half an inch too much difference between the tight/no tight parts or is this about normal?

i can't help you out with 1 1/8 stuff, sorry. got lots of 1" though...
i wouldn't worry too much about the difference in chain tension; if you want to even it out a bit, try loosening all your chainring bolts and then re-tightening one bolt at a time going clockwise tightening every other bolt bit by bit until you get an even tension on all of them.
but a little bit of disparity in chain tension is no biggie...

^ Good to hear thanks, i'm not that good with tinkering with the bike anyway. So i looked at ebay for a stem since i have some money in paypal, how does this look to you? Total would be $26. Is it alright for the money?
