It would've been nice if more people came out for the ride tonight, but the turn out wasn't bad on account of the rain.
Thanks again for the coke Steeker, it's always nice meeting new people.

It was a good turnout considering the thunderstuff earlier. I was feeling a bit antisocial & sick in the belly, almost didn't show but it seemed like a bunch would stay home due to rain so I went anyway. It was close to home. Shin-yum ramen for lunch w/egg didn't like me as much as I liked it, damn cheap lunch can;t be trusted

Slayer.....wow dragging their asses from the muck once again?
Stars, I kinda like a couple songs off the disk, same for Metric. Neither disk really really stands out for me.
The whole whoa is me rock thing is getting pretty tired. I guess that's what happens when one gets so ooooold. Broken Social Scene .... let me dl a few tracks.... suggestions?
I'm kinda hoping a good Canadian band with something to say comes. It's been a pretty bleak bunch of years for music when it's so hard to tell who's been percolating under the labels radar or who's the latest cookie cutter band. That is the disadvantage to being older is I'm not in the clubs anymore where one should see these bands when they are small time. Big shows bite. I saw Nirvana with 400 people in a club three months before Smells Like.... broke them out.. amaaaaaaazing show.

Grab the first few tracks off of You Forgot it in People (2002):
01. Capture the Flag
02. KC Accidental
03. Stars and Sons
We should do a list of of top-ten albums each and go on a music exchange frenzy, or take over the "what are you listening to?" thread in the main forum. I actually enjoy getting peoples' opinions on new music (even though I'm just a tad belligerant sometimes).
Edit: maybe not top-ten albums, because that becomes too complicated ... just a list of some albums you've been listening to lately that are worth hearing.

Road condition wise. Lakeshore is alright. North service road is also fine. Lakeshore gets narrow going from kipling to Hamilton, 2 lane road only so you may want to detour north or something, I wanted a direct route so no go with that.
Also the stretch of north service road can also be replaced by climbing the escarpment to the south and then doing some funky stuff with the roads in there - I didn't do that because I needed a direct route.
Also that 60km stretch to niagara falls once you turn east on south shore of Lake O. is the most boring piece of **** you'll ever see. Ride profile is that it's all flat, and you'll be eating wind either on the way to Hamilton or on the way to Niagara. Depending on which direction (T.O -> Hamilton = 90km, Hamilton -> Niagara = 50-70km), you'll suffer, or not.
North service road has a giant wall on the south edge but otherwise it's open, meaning wind in your facez0r.

ps. to all the trackies: I just emailed Eddy (the guy who runs the Saturday Track 1 sessions) about our group coming out on June 10. I asked him about whether it would be possible for us to use the track later in the day since there aren't any races scheduled. I'll keep y'alls posted.

It's so boring i'm reading useless articles like this: https://news.com.com/Beware+of+broadb...tag=nefd.pulse Weather why hath you forsaken me?!??
where the frig were you tonight operator you said you were gonna come, what a n00b lawel
I'd rather have hilly and less windy than windy and less hilly.
Jeremy if you're going to scan that map blast over a copy for me as well please. Or gmaps -> save route it.
My bar setup is going to look like this soon: except the bullhorns aren't wing (I need 4 bolt quill stem do they have those?) And those exact levers, w00t.

Shiz...many other riders at the building? How long before you're caught with one foot in as it were?
Operator......avoid it as long as possible. Unless it's for spending money, for bikes, toys, or road trips.

Or maybe just a picture. That's like 1/3 diameter of a regular cd encased in plastic.
A has been format, was very popular in Japan never really made it in North America.

1. Supersuckers. ************* Be Tripping. Good Ole Rock and Roll.
2. Fu Manchu. Start the Machine. Solid Rock/Metal
3. Anything by Hayseed Dixie. Country versions of AC/DC covers. Awesome.
4. King Conqueror. Fist Magnet. Punk/Ska from Halifax. The singer rides a fixie.
5. Megadeth. Peace Sells But Who's Buying. Mustaine rocks.
6. Outkast. Speakerboxx/Love Below. Good hip-hop thats all over the board.
7. Rick James. Gold. disc 1 and 2. Cause he's Rick James *****!
8. Suicidal Tendencies. Join the Army. What happened to Cyco Mike anyway?
9. Zero 7. Simple Things. Great chillout record.
10. Dr Dre. The Chronic. Still my favorite hip-hop/rap artist.
