Spokes and Sports (my store) on Avenue Rd north of Lawrence has a brand new Trek tandem that's rentable. Not sure how much $$ the boss wants for renting it, but for one night I'd guess between $50 - $100.

Prolly works good but check out how much dirt and grime you accumulate on yer chain in a short period of time. Get out the cleaning supplies.
I have used tri-flow for years with good results. This season I started using Rock and Roll chain lubes and have to say that stuff is great. Nice and silent with no dirt attraction. And when you put it on it cleans the chain at the same time.

Check the post before mine - that was a terror-induced use of all-caps. Happy birthday to your daughter though.

Unrelated note #1: enjoy tomorrow's ride. I'll be out of town but hopefully I'll see you all next weekend for that ride.
Unrelated note #2: I'm heading back to Sarnia for the weekend (hometown) and looking foward to the Saturday morning garage sale lightning round. Hopefully I can find myself some $15 old school goodness (come on chromed Ciocc).

Bikes: Menonite black urbanite, probably enough spare parts to make anther one.

is it a forum etiquette no-no to post pictures of one's self? i got to thinking this morning that i have met a few of you here and there but there's some forum names that have no faces for me. i could start with mine and everyone could post as they like no nudity (okay nudity, but only tasteful, on-a-bear-skin-rug kind of thing).

see if you can link your images, lest the pages take forever and we inadvertently kill off the server.

a bunch of us posted pics awhile back.. plus there are lots of pics of group rides with bf people. add a roaring fireplace and some mulled wine to that bear-skin scenario and you got a deal.

my gf was watching it.. I saw a couple bits. Looked like a blast. It killed me when the one guy yelled out in Japanese "watch out! crazy foreigners coming through!" (or something along those lines).
