Maybe not the best place to post this, but it IS Toronto, so...
My store in North York is looking to hire one person, full-time or darned close to it. Wrenching ability is a plus, but mostly we need someone for the floor. We do bikes in the summer, but a lot of hockey, soccer, curling and baseball too, so someone that is into other sports would be a bonus. Oh, we need someone who can continue to work daytime hours through the winter.
If any of you know someone who might fit the bill, tell them to stop by Spokes and Sports on Avenue Rd near Wilson. PM me here if you want more info.

Hairshirt, kick some ass guys - you'll do great.
NIN was one of the best shows I've seen in my life. Sweet mercy, so good.

One time my front wheel DID actually come off.
I was riding with no skewer after it broke doing some drops.
On the ride home, my weight was the only thing keeping the wheel connected.
I went to bunny hop the curb. Silly me.
You can imagine the rest of the details.
It looks sort of like the picture.

the hairshirt is always usually hot or rainy. last year it was something like 40 degrees with the humidity, i had salt stains on my shorts and jersey when i got home. i should have gone this year, it's a great feeling when you finish...

Hmm... well I can only make it if it's later, like 930ish. But if you guys want to go earlier, I'll just give one of you a call to meet up. Cool beans.

just had a nap and a shower after the Hairshirt. feels sooooo good to be done and non salty.
we finished in 11 hours and 40 minutes including breaks, with an average speed of 30km/h, got a pretty sweet sunburn and I can't move out of my chair without feeling sore.
but all in all it was a great ride, I had some doubts but then just forgot about everything and kept on going.
And I set the record for being the youngest rider with the fastest time
