Not cycling shorts ... just ratty shants that were pants 6 years ago.

1) I'm up to three flats this week. That's two on my bike, and one this evening on my car. And of course it would happen as I'm about to drive myself and my lady friend out to a nice dinner. D'oh!

Well, I don't want to brag about anything but I had a GREAT day today. I scored a nice little Bianchi road bike on CL similar to the one posted above but in better shape and fully functioning for only $75. I picked it up on Saturday but didn't get a chance to ride it until today and it is a great ride and it only needed some air in the rear tire to make it wicked-fast; too small for me but I am giving it to a friend.

The best part of my GREAT day is that after I finished booting around the city on this little Bianchi, I rode up to my apartment and what do I see on the sidewalk? A little red bit of paper, kinda folded over, it almost looks like..............OMG!! CAN IT BE?!?! IT IS! A FIFTY DOLLAR BILL! RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAQWQQQQQQQQQQQQQQWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Just happend now, can you feel my excitement :)

Ok so I'm starting a list for people who have already taken Track 1 at the velodrome and are interested in taking Track 2 and 3. According to the schedule on the website, we can do Track 2 or 3 on Monday nights from 8-10pm http://www.forestcityvelodrome.ca/comeriderace.html . I can only speak for myself but getting to London for 8 on a Monday night is gonna be difficult. Wes talked to Mike and he said if we got enuf guys together...and made a little gas donation for his travel...he would hook us up on a weekend. I might be able to make it on a Monday but a weekend would be much easier for me...Sunday especially.

I'm going to have to hit up the LBS in R.H for some rim tape and a tube ($6.50 last time I was there) ugh. Hope I don't get shafted.
