you guys suck.. I'm already out and now I have to ride home in the rain. :P

I'm at Jet Fuel doing some work right now. ps. "if weather != raining" :P Back to seriousness: Has anyone made their own 10/20w Dual Halogen setup with Nimh batteries? Would it be cheaper just to purchase a system from niterider or light & motion? Thoughts? Need something like 3-4 hour runtime with both on. |
lovely riding today.. too bad y'alls are *******. ;)
|
hey, we did indeed ride today. me and darkmother, and one guy from the toronto fixed group. not 100k, but some nasty hill work instead. a little rain but that's okay. and yes, somnambulant, i was there a little before 10, but we hung around until about 10:30 because no, we never do things on time.
|
I wussed out :|
Next week, i'll be there with my new frame.....!!!! Edit: operator > Somnambulant |
full on Sunday wussiness, didn't even walk to the store until it stopped raining...
|
don't blame anyone for wussing out; it was soggy and muggy out there. i haven't ridden in a month so i had to get out there...

What do you need 30 watts total for anyway? I had 20 watts on the trail in the 24 hour and had more than enough to see in the pitch black. Some of the new systems use a smaller wattage but have a higher candlepower output. I would suggest the NiteRider Moab...12 and 13.5 watt lights....8 hours runtime on full burn....a bargain at $1100.
I was hellbent on getting 2x 10w or 2x 15w ... something like that. Has to be dual. http://www.batteryspace.com/index.as...S&Category=499 HID is teh $$. |
Here I am in 2005; I went trick or treating with my sister's kids and I got a lot of candy :)
