Operator, the best deal going is $5.99 + $2.99 (shipping and handling) for night vision glasses. You need 3 popsicle wrappers circa 1980 though.
Bah, with the way UPS/Fedex ships it's probably going to arrive in pieces and I have to pay $30 for them to fill in some forms at the border :|

Nice, thanks. The batteryspace was the one I was trying to avoid because they charge $20 for UPS standard (get pwned on brokerage) or $60 for UPS Expedited (ridiculous). Are there any local places downtown?

I'd LOVE to have a motorcycle pingpong ball headlight setup, with high beam!!!! I wouldn't mind baggin a recharagable 12v battery, what a couple/few extra pounds in the bag....no biggie. mmmmm surprisingly bright lights to one's way with. There are a couple sections of bike path at night that are terrifyingly black, in places you don't want it to be black.
Right now it's looking like 12v MR11 bulbs @ 10w/15w being overvolted with a 14.2/13.2V Nimh D battery packs.

Basically it's going to last a ******* long time on one charge with awesome light output. You can substitute a SLA/NiCd batteries in place of the Nimh to save some money, but you pay for it in runtime/stable battery output/weight.

do they do USPS? they're not as fast but i find you don't get butt***ed by them for brokerage fees. i've had good luck with them with several large packages (bikes).

Let me know what you end up doing. I'm going to put together a system for the winter/night off road riding. Most likely a single helment mount, 12V. ~20W. The bulbs are cheap enough so that I may overvolt lots and just carry a spare bulb.

Bikes: too many too list

I have been watching the results from the London Track League. Mr Cranky-Pants...Aka Dave Bee... has been doing almost the same flying lap times since he has been going to the track...high 11's. I would be cranky too if every noob at the track was beating my time. I did a mid 11 time the first flying lap I ever did.

look at the baby jerry! i hope the baby isn't ugly, then you have to lie and say it's cute or what have you when sometime they just look like mouldy figs...

luckily, this friend isn't one of those in-your-face-breastfeeding-on-the-subway kind of people.
