I think it's more like the stench of pure man. and not in a good way. when a buddy of mine went to waterloo for engineering they used to play a prank on each other that consisted of pissing in a shallow cafeteria tray and carfully putting it in the freezer then popping the frozen pee out and sliding it under the victim's door and waiting for the thaw. while funny, this kind of stuff didn't exactly make the ladies swoon.
us english majors, well, we smelled of dusty tomes, pipe tobacco and pretention.

Art majors either smell really pretty or they smell like pot or cigarettes, and there is no practical joking.

My early year sociology and geography classes always smelled like food because some jerkass commuter student would always decide to bring their DINNER into class to eat. I'm talking tupperwares spilling with cous cous and chicken with sides and stuff. It was out of hand.

I was in pure female heaven it was almost as good as my years working for Fashion File or this week has been with Fashion Week and all.

Traditionally meetings have happened on Friday's. It gives us a sharp perspective on the week's events and allows us the latitude to make quick decisions. Also the black time between officially leaving work and arriving at home allows some of our more esteemed members more time to contribute to the weeks issues. Perhaps if you raise the issue (with all the appropriate paperwork) at the next meeting and we can consider your request.

Hear, hear! He speaketh the truth. Friday evening is a very unsafe time and this situation must be rectified with regular discussion.

yes, there seems to be a real divide between the "black turtleneck fashionista" art students (usually art history majors) and the "one piece leotard and a cape" art students (usuallly studio artists). i always appreciated seeing people be-cloaked on the york university campus.
and yes, offhoff, english and art history classes are usually crawling with women. i always liked to talk poetry with them as it were.

Poetry, is that what uni-studs are calling it these days?
J: I love the uni and a cape imagery.

Are dark days ahead for safety?

The problem for friday evening safety meetings with me is that I don't like to bring my safety gear to work, and if I go home to pick it up, I'm bound to be pretty safe there anyways. Then since I'm already safe I'm like, why go to the safety meeting? how can I get any safer than this? But you can always ben more safe, sometimes it just takes special techniques and equipment.

no it was actual poetry which usually got me no where. as for the cape/uni 'imagery', i'm not making that up. speaking of old-tymey clothing, there is a guy who works at book city who actually wears a monocle. i think i've mentioned this before but every time i see him i can't help but think of mr. peanut.

as for the safety meetings, i wish i could make it but work dictates that i can't. shiz - there's no reason you can't bring your safety gear to work, just leave it stashed safely in a bag and don't mention it; who'se going to go through your stuff?

okay, i'm off to put the finshing touches on the wünter-bike.

Call it force of habit. I've never purposely brought safety supplies to school, or to work. Well, the school thing is a lie, as I usually got most of my safety gear at school. And the work thing is a lie too I guess because sometimes I forget that I have my first aid kit in a cargo pocket of my shorts from the dangerous previous night. I guess I must be safe right now without realizing it or something... they do have emergency exit signs and fire extinguishers all over my workplace.

At what time does the friday safety meeting commence, as I would not be able to attend safely until such time that my clock punching was up. Either way I'm sure we'll all have plenty of time to discuss our safety in the future.

One of the dirty old men that works in my office likes to take "scenic walks" through the fine arts building. Apparently he has very sophisticated and refined artistic taste, and thusly enjoys watching the dance classes. A true renaissance man. Funnier still are the trades guys working construction on campus. Like a pack of dogs-you'd think these guys had never seen a 19 year old woman before.

I'm like 4 courses away from my B.A. I'm just not very good at going to school when I can have a real job that makes me real money. I will finish it up I just like having some change in my pocket too much to do it right now. That plus the fact that right now I have no barriers to my career because of me not having a degree. Hell most of my peers are blown away by the fact I'm 23 and have been doing what I do for so long but I know it WILL come bite me in the arse one day so I'll go get it.

To borrow from dazed and confused, "I love college girls, I keep getting older and they stay the same age"
