I'm the exact opposite I've always had to ride a frame slightly too big for me. I dream of one day buying a bike that was the perfect fit. Maybe the next one...

Cooked some good eats the other night for a catering. Included in the yumminess were poached apples stuffed with cured fois gras...orgasmicly good. Melted in an explosion of flavour. $50 cost for 10 though. But hey, not my party. |
Slightly big frames blow. Can't get the handlebars low enough, seat has no seatpost showing and you feel too stretched out.
People are paying $2800 for a ps3 email address from yahoo? Thus proving that people can't read. http://cgi.ebay.ca/playstation-3-ema...QQcmdZViewItem |
2800? Try $43000 CAD... insanity...
|
I think it's safe to say they're not going to be paying that amount. 0 Feedback user anyways. Probably using it to raise the sellers accounts feedback under mutual agreement.

man. is that picture of the colnago taken in Toronto?
The only current video game system I own is Sega Master System which I got for 30 bucks in grade 4 off my cousins. Altered Beast and Shinobi! I'm actually interested in testing out a frame thats too small for me. Just to see how it feels and rides. and yea, big frames blow chunks. |

The photo is from FGG that I saved ages ago but it could be Toronto, I dunno. I just got a great bike that is a bit too small for me but wow, it is fast! I haven't ridden a smaller frame in years and this one is a 56cm and it is made out of Columbus SLX so it is super-rigid and tight. I forgot about the agility you get with a smaller frame. I love it so far, the thing is gorgeous and I've only been out on it a few times but I've received a ton of compliments....the lugs on it are sweet and have some nice details to them. I should post a pic but it isn't fixed ;) |

don't get me started on the "smaller frames are more rigid and fast" debate. as a 6+ footer with ostrich legs it's been a life long dream of mine to get a frame big enough. i've rode my share of too-small frames. IMO, they aren't faster, they just make my back ache. |

Very nice ride. Do you actually like where those brake levers are set up though? looks awkward.

So, I went with 46X16 and it seems just about right. I've taken it for a couple of test rides, maybe 40-50k and it feels pretty good. Had to get out of the saddle to get up the hill on Greenwood heading North to Danforth but otherwise it seems to be a pretty good comprimise between top speed and useability. :)
Now I have to sort out the bars, get a new rear wheel so I can go fixed, and get used to the geometry. I discovered today that it doesn't handle (or stop!) quite as fast as my road bike... and the guy in the Saturn I bounced off of will attest to that :o Thanks for the advice! |
driving the pinarello down Woodbine Ave today and I did a slow rolling cross on Queen Street with the intent on facing east on Queen just in time for the light change with a track stand and I fell over in front of all the cars feet still straped to the peddels laying on the road ******** nasty  . I jumped up and carried my bike to the sidewalk, straightend up the handle bars and continued home

Waaa!!!! why does stuff like this come up when I have no bread?
