i don't often get the chance to do the humber past kipling. nice to be away from traffic; and everything is so lush and green. my back was really slowing me down the last 15kms or so.
speaking of which, did you get my email about tomorrow mike/shapelike? oh and since i didn't get to say 'bye, have a nice night, wes! |

The question is could I smooth out the welds at the joints? I've asked a few metal working persons and they all say the same thing "It should be fine, but I wouldn't do it without the manufacturer sayings its ok" So i'm going to call Tony on monday and ask. But if there are opinions for you guys I'd love to hear them too. Oh and what size cone wrenches do I need to repack a campag record hub from the early-mid 90s |

I can't help but think there are a lot of hidden spots throughout the city... would be worth it to try and find a few more of the hidden gems for the next time we all roll around as a big group. |
Anyone know of any 1 or 2 room apts. opening up? Westside in the Bloor to Davenport area? PM Thanks.

We'll have to do another ride soon, that was fun. perhaps to the bluffs next time? with some food packed! re routes in t.o.: the leslie spit is great for a weeknight jaunt. those side trails are new. don't forget the 2007 cycling map just came out. for those of you who are new in town, check out the martin goodman trail heading west towards oakville (during off-peak times!) and beyond. |

HA!! That reminds me of a guy who came into the shop today for some new pedals on his Specialized Allez, he ran to the grocery store while I was installing them and I noticed that his old pedals were only threaded about 3/4 of the way in so I just unscrewed them with my hands. Then as I was tightening the new pedals I grabbed the rear wheel for some leverage and the whole wheel just popped off! So I realized that the guy just tightened the quick releases as much as he could without closing the lever, the thought of going off a curb and having your front wheel come off is no fun. When the guy got back I had to teach him how to properly use his quick releases. |

Saw some Freedom Haters representing at RFH this morning. Would have made a shot out, but I was in my race skivvies, feeling vulnerable.
