so apparently i have different body parts, which meant i got a whole tonne of nice swag: socks, bell, gloves, t-shirt and top tube protector! (except it's pink, damnit)

my total time was 1:33. i passed the last two points, but i skipped them because i thought i'd run out of time. the only thing i scavanged wasn't on the list; a wool hat... except it's pink, damnit.

It's official, when I stopped by Cavern I found out I was 8th of 19. No idea what my time was. I'm pretty stoked with that, for an old guy.

ah no worries, just buggin'! for what it's worth, "Technocratic Anthroprocentricism" just sounds like human behaviour to me.
yeah, i'm definitely grateful... especially since i didn't finally decide that i'd race for sure until friday afternoon!
i was born on a friday the 13th, so it's a lucky day for me... i was offered the job yesterday i had applied for as well (for $4 more per hour than i expected!) so good times indeed.
off to the sport swap soon... will see if i'm this happy still after trekking up to north york.

Last night was a blast. Great to see all you guys out there. Charlie I'm glad to hear you're alright. When you said you got in a fight I actually believed you for a moment!
I couldn't be bothered to scavenger anything. I just wanted to ride. It was great. Doing the goldsprints at the party made me want rollers even more. Good times.

I totally blew up my legs but it was worth it. Good fun some good footage, we need to run a daytime race though for serious traffic and really good carving footie.
Dumplings were wicked too.

The adjustable rear end is funky to say the least. To be able to change the geometry of your ride to suit your outing is cool. I wanna see what that bar is all about, readouts? You could hide alot of gizmos in those wheels.
I was so hurtin' for a road frame last night..

On a serious note though that sucks. Front too which is weird. You probably just have something nasty still stuck in the tire. I doubt it's the tires' fault per se.

Rob made a funny quote at Bikechain the other day, but with the voodoo magic he used to fix my cranks (after I lost my **** trying to no avail), I'm starting to belive him: "You see all these bikes? If you melted them all into a big pile of goo and then resolidified them into individual pieces, I bet I could reassmeble them all properly"

So I was riding around today, doing some errands, visited with Dom @ Bikes on Wheels, and saw some dude with a... tantalizing red 3Rensho
in Kensington.
It was locked to a traffic sign pole, then someone grazed the wheel when walking by, and the bike fell hard onto the sidewalk
I cringed when I saw it happened.
Anyone know who's 3Rensho it belongs to?
