Awesome, yeah I just saw a racer for Slipstream-Chipotle mention it in a journal thing on Velonews (https://www.velonews.com/diaries/ride.../12116.0.html). I've heard it mentioned many times but I've never tried it. Bring it to Scotch night!

also: grr.. once again I find a cross frame that I like and is affordable and later realize it has 135 spacing. Who the fark wants mountain spacing on a cross bike?? Kinda limits your wheel choices! (especially for campy)

i think it's so you can use cheaper MTB hubs. who would ride campy in the dirt? for shame!

I forget what we do in track 2. Is it mostly riding or do we have to stand there shivering in lycra sliding around on cleats?

I did a track 2+3 combo I think so I hope we have the chance to get a bunch of laps in because we probably won't be doing the more fun drills.

I'm planning on going unless the weather gets totally evil. Should be there just after 6 at the meet up.

Why wouldn't I want to ride campy all the time? Then I can share wheelsets/etc (not that I have another campy bike right now, but that's simply a matter of time).

ditto for wheelset sharing and general annoyance of kludgy solutions.

I think track 2 was mostly on the track. It wasn't that different than track 3 except the drills were less cool.

I'm still occasionally tempted to go for that bikesdirect campy record deal and selling off the bits I don't want on craigslist. If it was a compact crankset I'd be more interested, however.

ps. Kim used the word "campy" the other day. I was so proud.

Anyone know where to get a power meter? I'd like a Powertap, but I can't imagine spending that money. Nonetheless, it would be nice to know where they can be found.

I think Cycle Therapy can get them if they don't normally stock them. There's also a powertap pro + cxp33 wheel on canadiancyclist right now for I believe $700.

I was on the cycle-Ops site and under powermeters you see a nice photo of Mr. Landis. I guess that is the key to his success...
