New CAAD10? Or...?
So, I just sold my 2011 CAAD10 for $750.
I sold it for 2 reasons:
1. There is a dent on the top tube
2. I want a smaller frame (50 cm) to get a more aggressive fit.
My question is what bike should I buy this weekend?
I'm thinking of just buying a new 2015 CAAD10 105 (~$1600).
Do you agree with this choice? Or, do you have another suggestion?
Thanks!

Caad 10's are wonderful rigs and would be a fine choice. As most advice goes, ride a few different models just to see what feels the best for you. But if you stick with the Cannondale, you still have an awesome bike.

Sold my CAAD9 54 last year cause it was a tad small, moved up to a carbon Giant TCR and just sold that a few weeks ago and bought a used CAAD10 56. There is your answer. Cult of CAAD is strong. I tried to get away and they pull me back in

Find one on Craigslist in your size. They seem pretty popular to sell around here, not sure why, I guess people who buy them all have upgrade fever.

Why not test ride a few carbon bikes? People used to say good aluminum was better than entry level carbon, but nowadays I bet entry level carbon is pretty darn good.

Allez or try entry level carbon. If you buy right, you can get a mid to higher level carbon Tarmac frameset off ebay for $1K...premium race bike.

I own a Caad10 and love it, no plans on buying something different anytime soon. But, if I were in the situation you are in I would entertain the idea of trying something different just for the sake trying it. I'm the type to second guess my decisions constantly as I ride so if I never at least test rode a few bikes before buying another Caad10 I'd probably drive myself crazy wondering what could have been or justify that that the Caad is the right choice. I'm from the camp that believes Carbon bikes aren't good until you get into the true Hi-Mod frames which are way out of my price range and I'm sure plenty of guys will call me out on saying that but we're all entitled to our own opinions here. My experience with the entry level stuff which is where you'd be shopping at your budget is they are just as heavy as the Caad10 if not heavier, and have noticeable flex under power which I may be more sensitive to being 200+lbs but I didn't get that same power transfer feeling like I do with the Caad10. I was out to buy a Carbon Bike and wasn't even considering a Caad10 until the salesman asked me to take one out. One ride and I was sold! Happy Hunting and Good Luck!

Thanks all! This feedback confirms my initial thought of going with a CAAD10 again.
Now i just need to decide if I should go with Black or Team colors.

Both look nice, I have the Black Inc which is all black, plus I removed most of the Gold badging, looks stealthy! If you can't decide which to buy just toss a coin or ask any random person standing next to you at the store.

I have an aluminum Cannondale CAAD9 and also what was at the time second tier carbon Jamis Xenith (which is probably similar to entry level carbon now), and the Xenith feels stiffer and more direct when sprinting. However, I am a lightweight smaller rider, so I'm not sure if larger frames will share the same characteristics as the smaller frames I ride (51-52 cm).

I picked up a 2012 team colors which I love. For the 2015 , team colors is pretty much black and white with a few touches of green so not too much difference than the black one but I'd still go team colors. Gives you the option to get saddle and bar tape in green down the road to set it off a bit more

Team colours all the way. (Also, I own the 2015 CAAD10 105, and it's magical and you definitely made the right choice).
