If you come across a gorilla riding a bicycle, do not make eye contact!

You spent more time typing this than anyone should ever spend thinking about this "issue".

Your above be relevant to "eye contact" that be on neighborhood & metro asphalt streets.
When "eye contact be made from cyclist to motorist.
As the cyclist must do so,so for assurance in being seen.

Wave, lazer like eye contact followed by a raise of one eyebrow and a knowing nod of the head.

Haven't had this but I come across coyotes on a regular basis and can never figure out if eye contact is bad. The more eye contact, the closer they seem to come to me but none have tried to take me down yet. I worry if I don't make eye contact, they will ambush me especially because they are never alone

Whatever you do, DO NOT make eye contact with a Velociraptor, or the last words out of your mouth will be, "Clever girl!!!"

When passing on the bike trail, is eye contact necessary or will a nod or finger wave suffice?

I like to raise a few fingers as a wave gesture but don't feel the need for eye contact acknowledgement.

amirite?
