Wide saddle with aggressive taper from rear to nose

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Wide saddle with aggressive taper from rear to nose

I have a leg/thigh that is 1.5 inches/3.8cm/38mm larger in circumference from the other. This causes chafing on one side. Tilting the saddle off center does help somewhat but I'm not sure for how long this will suffice. My sit bones (for what its worth) have been measured repeatedly between 140-145. This puts me on the 168 sizes of specialized saddles. I tend to like a saddle with some curvature, I like the romin and the power but all produce chafing on one side. My legs were determined to be the same length or at least such a small discrepancy that it should not cause any problems on the bike.

My fitter is at a loss and steve hogg told me my only hope is medical attention/chiropractor/cycling specific doctors. This is however not an option. I cannot spend thousands on medical bills to ride a bike, I would have to give it up.

Lowering my saddle to the point I'm level with my current bar height will pretty much alleviate the issue but results in knee discomfort and low power output, I just don't feel efficient on the bike, especially when sprinting or going hard.

Also my bibs all fit funny. The left side of the crotch is always tighter and the chamois feels bunched up in that area where I get chafing/blisters/ingrown hair looking boils. This could actually be the cause of the problem right here. I always feel friction but cant tell if its the chamois or saddle that creates the slight rubbing.

So my next project is to try to find a saddle described in the thread title. Ive tried many before I found out about the thigh issues but they all seem too narrow coming in around 145mm. Just throwing this out there in case there are a few others with similar issues.

I'm currently on the power but can still return for another 10 days and try any spesh saddle I want. Nothing was ever attractive to me aside from the romin and now the power. Rode a romin all last season. Admittedly those are the only 2 spesh saddle I've ever tried. Tried some selle italia and some smp's as well as one or two fizik.

Carbonfiberboy on this forum was suggesting some wtb saddles as he has a slightly wider leg but most of those run around 130mm in width.
