Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Damn, that's good customer service!
I think most cycling brand could cover that as long as it's still under warranty, do they?
I didnt come across this situation though

Gotta say, this is a tough one. For my wheel, it's under the warranty period and he asked no question. Had he asked the only thing I have done to my wheel is inspect it and wipe it down with a damp cloth every now and then. No one else has ever touched it. No truing has ever been needed.

If someone else did maintenance to your wheel where does Boyd's responsibility end? How does he know what was done? What if they did cause the damage?

Either way, sorry to hear you lost a wheel.

I broke a couple spokes over the first year and a half and each time I sent him a message before taking it to the lbs. He told me to take to them to have the broken spokes replaced and the wheel retensioned. after the third spoke went it was just out of warranty and that's when I noticed the spokes were pulling through the rim.

I had some sort of issue with the wheel set from day one and while he was always quick to respond to emails once the rim cracked no help.

Again, sorry to hear this. I suspect mine is a similar issue but I have not had any spokes break. It looks like they are pulling to hard on the rim and pulling through it causing it to crack.
