Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

ISM Attack Saddle Issues

After reading so much about the comfort and fit of ISM saddles, I got myself a barely used one.

Based on LeMond saddle fitting, I got 75.49 cm. However, it felt too forward and even after shifting all the the way back it still feels like I'm a bit cramped in the cockpit, not sure how much higher I need to go with it.

Next, it hurt like heck! I have used some saddles with minimum padding, like the Stella Italia flite and I was on the San Marco Arrowhead and felt ok.

I tend to sit back and grind or stand up rather than lean forward. Haven't felt so sore in a long long time and it was just 60km, what am I doing wrong?
