Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Rolf/Vector Comp SPOKES

I'm STILL running (2 sets)
Rolf Vector/Comps!
They've been good to me, quiet, are easy & quick to tune when they need it, upgraded one set to ceramics, extra parts should I really need.
A blue set & a red set
The blue I got for <$50. for my
Miyata 1400A
The red came mounted on my
Fondriest Carbon Lex.
The blue suffered chainsuk carnage to the 5 inners! Still rideable if I mind the nasty stuff, but.....
Now & again somebody has matched pairs on eBay for...*$30./set* !!!!!
I held out 2 1/2yrs..finally came a fella that gave me 6 matched pr. for
~$40.~ !!!! Boufht, paid for, delivered, perfect & worth every penny & allll the search in.
So, I put them aside for one of those wintery blizzard day inside by the fireplace kinda projects. . ...
And....um.....WELL '?!?
REEEAL nifty spot I stashed 'um in. ..(senior moment, wait..I'm only 50)
you got it, your guess is good as any
high n lo, sidewaz & everything....can't locate the* #%^~°¿¡ '!'!!
ANYbody got or hear of a stash, maybe a decapitated rear or? ????
I been happy with them, often run
1red/1blue each bike n they're good nuff for me.
Here's the particulars ;
~288 DT Aero 2.0/1.3 x5~
'99 &'00 Rolf/Vector Comps ran
DT Swiss Onyx hubs.
It's the drive side I really need but am open minded as far as your particular case, an entire wheel isn't necessarily out of the pic., but you may have guessed I'm usually on a real tight budget. But hey, let's see if we can work it out.
I've still got the original 105 wheels for the Miyata a bought a used set of Aksium Race, ...
Nostalgia I guess.

Thanx for your time & all
Keep the rubber side down
RIDE ONNNNN
