Rain all day and a swim meet to officiate do not make a good mix for getting a ride in.

Hoo boy, had a little scare this morning.
Woke up and my bike shed door was open. Seems when I was out there last, I locked the door but didn't have it latched properly. I've been riding the trainer all week so that had to be Monday. The bike shed was open all week and nothing stolen.
Perhaps I should play the lottery, it seems I've been fairly lucky.

One winter night my daughter came home late after I was asleep, and left the house door open all night.

Managed to hang on with the ride today. Tough group with a few extras to add some excitement.

Another day of no riding for me, since I'm up at the north outpost and I didn't bring a bike with me. There is cable TV here, though!

Thanks for the spoiler!
Anyway, November 1 here already. Start of the new randonneuring/Audax Australia season here and there is a ride today. Only 100km, and we covered much of the course a fortnight ago. It was mighty windy then, but it's a beautiful bright, sunny, calm day today.
