Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Buy the "greater" Sidis!

It's possible that the fit of the lower end models might be slightly different to the higher end. Try them before buying? Or take a gamble, order them, and send them back if you're not happy. You're only out the shipping.

I agree that you don't really need the megas unless you have massive feet. I wear a 14EE and find my (48) Genius 3s to be perfectly snug after breaking them in. Loose-fitting road shoes are a bad idea. Also, the toebox is fairly generous in the larger sizes.

Well, I tried the Genius and the Dynamic at the store (I was looking at the Zeta Mesh online). Maybe I just have myself believing I need that 1/2 size to justify getting the Genius.

It's probably too much shoe for a newb like me though.

Anyone tried using one of the Performance coupon codes with an item that is already discounted for Team Performance members? Can you do both? Once logged in I am having a hard time determining which items are discounted for members only and which are sale items for everyone...

You can use a coupon for any item, even the team performance discounted ones. I've always done that in the past without any problems.

There's a seller in Florida selling the 2005 Sidi Genius 5 at $175 on e-bay. I ordered a pair of Megas last Thursday. They arrived by USPS Priority Mail on Saturday. Great price and great service.
Here are his contact data:
