I swear myeddebt.ed.gov is ALWAYS down. Yes the site is up and I can log in, but if I want to review my payments it's always unavailable. Always. Why can't the government build a decent webpage? This stupid website probably cost the taxpayers MILLIONS. /rant

Well yes. The problem is the only way to get data from my watch TO Strava is... that auto-magic connection from Garmin Connect. Which, as mentioned, is down.

I hate Garmin so much.

Only problem is when Garmin Connect comes back up it may duplicate the ride on Strava when it pulls it over. Easy enough to delete the duplicate though.

I've been a huge Garmin supporter for years. Had a 200 for a while and upgraded to a 510. I generally can't imagine riding without one. The other day, my 510 suddenly decided it didn't want to load my bike profiles, and I ended up having to do a master reset. Only lost a couple of commuter rides, but still. This is maybe the 3rd or 4th time this has happened to me in 3 or 4 years, but it really, really sucks when you have to redo your bike profiles and eveyrthing. Between that and the awful, awful, AWFUL bluetooth pairing with recent firmware updates, I am THIS close to saying **** it and throwing it on ebay. They make incredible hardware that is awesome when it works, but gives me more issues with every single firmware update than any iPhone ever has.

No from a 910XT, not that I can figure out. The cradle is for charging only.

The decision to link the 910XT to GC (and only upload via Ant Agent) is frustrating. It also routinely lies about having found satellites and has my run starting across the street in someone else's house and takes over a quarter mile to get accurate (while telling me I'm running much faster or slower than I really am). My 500 will only calibrate my PT while the HR strap is connected (granted, I haven't tried that in almost a year). On and on... they have a big pile of issues. I wish there were another GOOD GPS watch.

Nope. There are only two pins on the watch, and two on the charging cradle. They included an ANT+ stick so they can make you use the Garmin ANT Agent to upload.

Yeah, looks like Ant+ data transfer only.

Once you connect to the PC via ANT stick, the files are typically saved to C:/Users/*Username*/AppData/Roaming/Garmin/Devices/XXXXXXXXX/Activities

It's a hidden location, so you'll have to unhide, but you can then upload the file manually on Strava (Strava and Garmin Connect have never played together nicely for me, so I've had to manually upload like this for a while).

Case isn't closed but...insured, yes. Nevertheless I feel bad for the collector on the other end. Extremely hard to acquire piece and the absolute apex of the craft.

HO...Amazing model, ridiculous detail. The funny thing is there are no existing paint chips or reference for that boiler jacket color, the green, other than an offhand story by a retired fireman who likened the color to a green found on Lucky Strike cigarette packs at the time...Essentially the reason I sold it. My models are all referenced with photos, copies of builder's doc, etc..
